Product Designer – Fashion (Footwear)

About the role

We are looking for a creative and technically‑savvy Product Designer to shape the next generation of footwear for a fast‑growing D2C brand. You will be part of a cross‑functional team in Hamburg, turning ideas into market‑ready shoes that combine style, comfort and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop product concepts from initial sketches through 3D models to final prototypes.
• Collaborate closely with development, marketing and production to ensure design feasibility and user‑friendliness.
• Research design trends and market requirements to continuously improve the collection.
• Create technical drawings and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support optimisation of existing products and integrate sustainable materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers and production partners to guarantee quality and manufacturability.

Required profile

• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Degree or training in product, industrial or fashion design.
• Strong aesthetic sense for shapes, colours and materials.
• Team‑player with excellent communication skills.
• Structured, independent work style.
