Product Engineer (Python) – Berlin

About the role

We are seeking a Product Engineer with strong Python expertise and a product‑first mindset to join our Berlin team. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and customers to deliver features that solve real‑world problems and generate measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to define, build, and iterate on new features.
• Translate customer feedback into practical technical solutions.
• Build reliable, high‑performance APIs and backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to engineering best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Help shape product direction by providing technical insight.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience developing software with Python.
• Experience building production‑grade web applications and APIs.
• Familiarity with modern Python frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Experience with SQL databases and REST APIs.
• Understanding of software architecture, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Product‑first mindset balancing technical excellence and business impact.
• Professional working proficiency in English and German (B2+).
