Product Manager Intern – AI Robotics

About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager Intern to join our fast‑growing embodied AI company. You will work at the intersection of AI, robotics hardware, and industrial operations, supporting the product lifecycle from concept to field deployment across more than 50 production sites.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and updating the product roadmap for hardware, software, AI, and field reliability.
• Collaborate with R&D to refine training data strategies, model evaluation criteria, and deployment thresholds.
• Spend time on production sites, turning operator observations into structured requirements and capability specs.
• Support backlog management, prioritize items by impact, and coordinate with engineering leads to track task completion.
• Track KPIs such as uptime, pick success rate, intervention rate, and time‑to‑value.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in robotics and AI with the ability to learn quickly and contribute to complex technical projects.
• Proactive communicator who can identify risks early and work with senior team members on solutions.

Required skills

• Familiarity with robot software stacks (ROS2, Zenoh, motion planning, control, perception pipelines).
• Ability to engage credibly with AI/ML teams on model evaluation and deployment criteria.
• Understanding of hardware‑software co‑design trade‑offs and their downstream impact.
• Basic awareness of EU Machinery Regulation, ISO 10218/15066, and AI Act obligations.
