Product Security Architect – Aircraft & Systems Security

About the role

Join the Aircraft & Systems Security team at Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, Germany. As a Product Security Architect you will protect aerospace products against malicious threats throughout their lifecycle, shaping security for both unmanned and manned platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain product security architectures aligned with system‑engineering processes.
• Compile security concepts, perform risk assessments and set appropriate security requirements.
• Act as the security focal point for design offices, authorities and international partners.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations and cybersecurity standards.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to embed security controls into product development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product security or cybersecurity within the aerospace or defence sector.
• Strong understanding of system‑engineering and lifecycle security governance.
• Ability to work in an international, multidisciplinary environment.
• Senior‑level expertise with a track record of delivering security architectures.
