Production Coordinator, Music

About the role

Ghostnote, a fast‑growing music startup in Berlin, is looking for a highly organised Production Coordinator to oversee the day‑to‑day music production pipeline. Working closely with the Founder & Creative Director, you will keep projects on track from brief to release, manage freelance producers and musicians, and ensure all content meets quality standards before distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a production tracker across all brands, highlighting progress, delays and blockers.
• Brief freelance music producers and artists, provide feedback, chase deliveries and nurture relationships.
• Check and approve piano and cover recordings against source material, returning any that do not meet standards.
• Source reference tracks for new briefs and draft album tracklists following brand guidelines.
• Organise masters, versions and metadata within the catalogue system.
• Perform final quality checks on all content before approval.

Required profile

• Passionate fan of anime, gaming and video‑game music culture.
• 2–3 years of experience in production, operations or coordination roles.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written communication skills for frequent freelancer interaction.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as German, Spanish or Portuguese are a plus.
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate (visa sponsorship not available).
