Professorship in Business Administration – Berlin Campus

About the role

IU International University seeks a dynamic professor to join its Business Administration degree program at the Berlin campus for the winter term 2026/27. The position is limited to two years and can be full‑time or part‑time, starting on 1 October 2026. You will contribute to both teaching and research while shaping the next generation of business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver face‑to‑face lectures and virtual sessions in Business Administration.
• Supervise students during examinations and thesis work.
• Develop practice‑oriented teaching formats in line with IU’s didactic concept.
• Participate in research activities and publish in relevant academic outlets.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to continuously improve curriculum.

Required profile

• Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Business Administration or a closely related field with outstanding academic performance.
• Minimum five years of professional experience, including at least three years outside academia.
• Demonstrated expertise through publications or projects.
• Experience in university teaching is desirable.
• Permanent residence in Germany and English proficiency at CEFR C1 level.
