Project Engineer – Technical Coordination & Commissioning

About the role

The Project Engineer will act as the technical hub for Structure Works installations across Germany and occasional overseas sites. You will ensure projects are delivered to the highest industry and company standards, from initial planning through commissioning and hand‑over to the client.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, commission, test and troubleshoot projects, ensuring compliance with SWI technical standards.
• Manage server deployments, programming activities and oversee cable, device and head‑end installations.
• Inspect system final termination, perform testing, and validate the commissioning process.
• Collaborate with project managers, design, sales and internal teams to guarantee technical compliance of tenders and pricing submissions.
• Provide technical and IT assistance for internal systems (security, CCTV, servers) when required.
• Deliver remote and on‑site support to field engineers, LSPs and clients, resolving technical issues promptly.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers, fostering skill development.
