Project Engineer – Wind Farm & SCADA Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to support the design and implementation of wind‑farm and SCADA cabinet concepts. The role involves translating technical requirements into concrete solutions and ensuring seamless remote access and data integration for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, document and track technical requirements for wind‑farm projects.
• Plan and design SCADA cabinet layouts and overall wind‑farm architecture.
• Define and implement remote‑access solutions (VPN, IPsec) for wind‑farm sites.
• Identify and configure data interfaces such as OPC XML‑DA, OPC UA and SQL databases.
• Design VLAN schemes to connect customer equipment securely.
• Coordinate with specialist departments to deliver customer‑specific solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering Informatics, Technical Informatics or a comparable qualification.
• At least three years of professional experience in an international industrial environment.
• Basic knowledge of database structures and experience in project management.
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken); Spanish is a plus.
• Professional demeanor in customer interactions and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
