Project Management Officer – Connected Intelligence

About the role

We are looking for a Project Management Officer to support the “Connected Intelligence” area within the Space Digital / Secure Connectivity DACH programme at Airbus Defence and Space in Ottobrunn. The PMO will act as a co‑pilot for bid and project teams, ensuring that methods, processes and tools are applied consistently.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Project Management Plan and ensure compliance.
• Manage the digital project ecosystem, including Unified Planning, ADProjects, ARM and collaboration tools.
• Prepare and facilitate meetings, milestone reviews and maturity gate planning.
• Coordinate the creation of internal and external reports and maintain the integrated project schedule.
• Identify the critical path, monitor risks and opportunities, and drive timely closure of actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management, preferably in aerospace or defence projects.
• Familiarity with proposal phases and bidding processes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a multifunctional team.
