Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead technically demanding projects for a leading provider of heavy‑lifting, crane and transport services. The role covers the full project life‑cycle from planning through implementation and follow‑up across Germany and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage complex projects, ensuring safety, quality, deadlines and cost control.
• Provide on‑site technical consulting and maintain transparent communication with clients.
• Plan, allocate and monitor resources including staff, equipment and service providers.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and technical execution at multiple locations.
• Track project progress, identify bottlenecks and drive process and workflow optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a recognised technician/master craftsman qualification.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably in industrial or transport environments.
• Strong communication skills in German and English.
• Willingness to travel up to 70 % of the time.
• Solution‑oriented, hands‑on mindset with high customer focus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
