Project Manager – Network Planning

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Project Manager – Network Planning to lead the grid‑connection and commissioning of wind energy projects in Germany. The role blends technical coordination, stakeholder management and project execution to ensure timely, compliant delivery of renewable energy assets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate grid‑connection activities for wind energy projects.
• Oversee projects from grid integration through commissioning.
• Coordinate with grid operators, authorities, landowners and external partners.
• Manage tenders for medium‑voltage components and cable‑route construction services.
• Evaluate technical bids and support vendor selection.
• Coordinate electrical certification processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Help optimise internal project workflows and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in wind energy or similar technical environments.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid Class B driver’s licence.
• German language proficiency at C1 level.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
