Project Manager – Onshore Wind Farm Projects

About the role

Vestas is looking for a Project Manager to lead the execution of onshore wind farm projects. You will be the main point of contact for customers after sales hand‑over and will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain and drive project execution plans, balancing scope, budget, resources and timelines.
• Identify, document, escalate and mitigate project risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Act as the primary customer interface, steering resource planning and milestone delivery.
• Manage relationships with customers and subcontractors, handling contract scope, budget and claim management.
• Ensure projects are cost‑efficient and aligned with contractual agreements.
• Align project scope with sales, support negotiations and balance product, production, installation and service requirements.
• Communicate continuously with all stakeholders using agreed tools and ensure compliance with Vestas quality standards.
• Evaluate project performance, capture lessons learned and apply improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale, complex construction projects in an international environment.
• Strong commercial knowledge and ability to engage customers on contractual and financial matters.
• Excellent relationship‑management skills with both customers and subcontractors.
• Experience handling complex legal and contract documents.
