Project Manager – Solar PV (Germany)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of utility‑scale solar PV and battery storage projects across Germany. The role will be based in Halle (Saale) and will involve planning, execution and hand‑over of new builds, revamps and maintenance programmes for large‑scale renewable assets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage solar PV projects from concept, permitting and design through construction, commissioning and hand‑over.
• Coordinate internal disciplines, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
• Control budgets, schedules, risk registers and performance metrics, reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
• Oversee health & safety and quality standards on‑site, conducting regular inspections.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, regulators and internal teams, providing accurate reporting.
• Conduct frequent site visits across Germany to monitor progress and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction, installation or maintenance projects in the renewable energy sector (solar, BESS, wind, etc.).
• Fluent German language skills and a valid driving licence.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites throughout Germany.
• Strong organisational and analytical abilities with a focus on safety and quality.
