Project Procurement Manager – Engineering Projects

About the role

You will own end‑to‑end procurement delivery for assigned projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from bid phase to hand‑over, execution and close‑out. The role ensures cost‑effective, timely supply of materials and services while safeguarding safety, quality and total cost.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project procurement plans, schedules and package strategies.
• Lead RFx processes, supplier negotiations, bid evaluations and contract management.
• Manage supplier quality, certifications, non‑conformance resolution and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Logistics and Legal to ensure compliance with procurement policies, export controls and sustainability requirements.
• Drive cost savings, supplier performance, safety and customer satisfaction aligned with business goals.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• Extensive procurement experience for engineered products/services in project environments.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in German and English with knowledge of German contract law.
• Experience with contractual risk management, supplier claims and schedule protection.
