Project Surveyor – Industrial & Logistics Construction

About the role

The Project Surveyor will support the European Industrial & Property Development team in delivering warehouse, renovation and fit‑out projects across Europe. Working closely with local stakeholders, external consultants, contractors and headquarters in Asia, the role focuses on cost management, tendering and commercial oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, estimates and cost control for construction, renovation and fit‑out projects.
• Support tender preparation, bid evaluation, commercial clarification and contractor selection for civil works, MEP and fit‑out packages.
• Prepare and review BOQs, cost reports, commercial comparisons and tender documentation.
• Review contractor quotations, variations, payment applications, change orders and final accounts.
• Monitor project budgets, identify commercial risks and recommend cost optimisation.
• Assist with contract administration, commercial negotiations and supplier performance management.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, consultants, contractors and procurement teams to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery.
• Support regional infrastructure expansion and construction cost‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience as a Project Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor, Cost Manager or Commercial Manager on industrial, logistics, warehouse, real‑estate, infrastructure or data‑center projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction cost management, tendering, procurement, contract administration, change management and final accounts.
• Experience managing civil works, MEP, fit‑out, warehouse or industrial building packages.
