Qt/QML Simulation HMI Software Engineer (d/m/f)

About the role

Our department creates high‑fidelity engineering and training simulations for various aircraft, covering the full development lifecycle. We are looking for a software engineer to develop HMI stations that control, monitor, instruct and debrief training sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse requirements from stakeholders and customers.
• Define and architect the software foundation for simulation control, instructor operating and debriefing stations.
• Design intuitive user interfaces using a custom Qt/QML‑based GUI framework.
• Develop, test, and maintain clean, efficient C++/Qt code following best practices.
• Debug and resolve software issues, perform code reviews and ensure coding standards.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as planning, stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional experience in frontend/UI software development.
• Strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Proactive, pragmatic mindset with a passion for simulation.
• Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.
