Quality Management Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Management Engineer to join our Technical Services team at the Recklinghausen site. The role is centred on ensuring and continuously improving the quality of automotive brake components, working closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external complaint processing.
• Create and edit sample parts for quality verification.
• Implement and support the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), including initiation, validation and technical assistance for suppliers.
• Maintain and develop the quality management system in line with ISO 9001.
• Communicate with customers and provide production support on quality‑related issues.
• Prepare, support and follow‑up on customer visits and audits.
• Conduct internal quality audits and ensure compliance at the Recklinghausen site.

Required profile

• Technical degree (engineering or equivalent).
• 2‑5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the automotive brake sector.
• Independent, structured and efficient working style.
• High flexibility, strong organisational skills and ability to work in a team.
• Analytical thinking and willingness to continuously improve.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Fluent German and English.
