Quality Manager Plant Engineering (m/f/d) – Construction QA/QC

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager for Plant Engineering to lead QA/QC activities on large‑scale industrial construction projects in Germany. The role requires fluent German and English (B2+) and will be part of a structured HSEQ team supporting plant engineering and construction sites.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor contractor execution quality on‑site and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Support project and construction teams in all quality assurance activities.
• Develop and maintain QA documentation, including SOPs, management plans, and control plans.
• Manage quality records, conduct inspections, and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate quality efforts with internal teams, contractors, and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality management within industrial construction or plant engineering (e.g., chemical, pharma, oil & gas, EPC, energy).
• Strong knowledge of defect management, supplier quality, and QA processes.
• Experience handling large‑scale projects and conducting internal audits.
• Fluent German and English (minimum B2 level).
