Quality Team Lead – Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Team Lead to oversee the quality management system at our aerospace and automotive component manufacturing site in Bremerhaven. Reporting directly to senior management, you will ensure compliance with industry standards, drive continuous improvement, and act as the primary quality liaison for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and oversee the quality management system in line with industry standards.
• Maintain and continuously improve the quality manual.
• Develop, maintain, and document the QM system.
• Prepare for, conduct, and support internal and external audits.
• Investigate root causes of non‑conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and develop a small team of quality professionals.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects and quality improvement circles.
• Report annually on QM system effectiveness and compliance to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of quality experience in electrical, aerospace, aviation, automotive or mechanical engineering environments.
• Several years in a quality management leadership role within a regulated manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of QM systems, methods and technical documentation.
• Fluent German and good English.
• Certified Quality Management Representative or equivalent internal/external auditor certification.
