Regional Controller – Germany

About the role

The Regional Controller for Germany will safeguard the financial performance of multiple production sites within the Solid Board Central Europe region. You will act as a trusted business partner, delivering accurate reporting, driving budgeting and forecasting, and supporting strategic decisions that enhance profitability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for the region.
• Monitor and optimise costs, analysing raw‑material expenses, production KPIs and operational efficiency.
• Lead ERP‑related financial processes, ensuring data integrity and continuous improvement (e.g., SAP FI/CO).
• Support business transformation initiatives, including process redesigns, system upgrades and integrations.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/local GAAP, manage internal controls and lead audit activities.
• Provide financial insights to regional stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling or a related field.
• Minimum five years of finance or controlling experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Experience supporting multiple sites and strong analytical capabilities.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑driven and able to work collaboratively with diverse plant teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP FI/CO, especially CO/PA.
• Strong IT affinity and familiarity with ERP systems.
