Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Day or Night Shift)

About the role

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Med‑Surg team. The position offers flexible day or night shifts (6:30 am‑7:00 pm or 6:30 pm‑7:00 am) and involves delivering safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care to patients across multiple specialty units.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process and evidence‑based practice to provide high‑quality patient care.
• Demonstrate clinical competence and critical thinking in fast‑paced environments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Float within the assigned specialty or to nearby campuses (within 30 miles) as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies.

Required profile

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing in Arkansas.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience, including at least 1 year in the specialty applied for.
• Healthcare CPR certification (required); ACLS, PALS, and/or NALS may be required depending on the unit (training provided).
• Willingness to float across specialties or campuses within a 30‑mile radius.
