Release Manager

About the role

Quipu, the dedicated IT company of the ProCredit group, is seeking a Release Manager to coordinate software releases across multiple banking platforms. The role ensures timely, compliant, and stable delivery of releases while minimizing risk.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the release calendar, aligning timelines with development, QA, operations, and business teams.
• Conduct release readiness reviews, go/no‑go meetings, and ensure compliance with ITIL, PCI DSS, ISO 27001 and other regulatory standards.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, environment readiness, and manage emergency releases or hotfixes.
• Identify release risks, create rollback and contingency plans, and monitor production stability post‑deployment.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, prepare post‑release reports, and maintain audit documentation.

Required profile

• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience with ITIL Release & Change Management and Agile/DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with banking systems, digital channels, ISO 20022, and security/compliance standards.
