Retail Operations Manager – Central Europe

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is looking for a Retail Operations Manager to own retail operations across Central Europe, covering Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic and Hungary. The role ensures stores operate efficiently, consistently and in line with global standards while acting as the senior escalation point for the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day store support including opening/closing, cash handling, inventory control and POS processes.
• Maintain SOPs, process clarity and embed the CRE standard through regular store visits (minimum two days per week).
• Enable and support EPOS, RFID, Smart Safe, Omni Gift Card, ORS and SFS systems, delivering training and owning in‑store Omni KPIs.
• Run the regional audit framework, manage corrective‑action plans and respond to global audit queries.
• Lead loss prevention, fraud examination and stocktakes to safeguard stock and transaction accuracy.
• Monitor KPIs such as stock accuracy, shrinkage, productivity and revenue targets.
• Act as senior escalation point, align with IT, Loss Prevention, HR and Finance, and co‑define operational targets with Retail Leads.

Required profile

• Degree, commercial apprenticeship or equivalent business qualification.
• Experience in retail operations, retail management or store management, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Hands‑on store experience with strong understanding of retail standards and compliance.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the Central Europe region and spend approximately two days per week in stores.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with EPOS systems.
• Knowledge of RFID technology.
• Familiarity with Smart Safe, Omni Gift Card, ORS and SFS platforms.
