About the role

Join Big Mamma’s vibrant floor team in Berlin as a Runner. You will be the link between the kitchen and the guests, ensuring a smooth, memorable dining experience in a lively Italian restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Serve guests in your section, following service steps, offering recommendations, upselling and processing payments.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, wines and cocktails.
• Open and close the dining floor, ensuring all stations are ready for service.
• Uphold health, safety and cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant.
• Support colleagues during busy periods and solve problems quickly.

Required profile

• A big smile and genuine passion for Italian cuisine.
• High energy, proactive attitude and strong team spirit.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Previous experience as a Runner in a busy restaurant.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
