Sales Engineer

About the role

The IQGeo Europe Sales team is looking for a Sales Engineer in Germany to provide technical expertise on software products for the telecom and utility sectors. The role supports the sales process, creates and delivers product demonstrations, and helps shape customer solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with account directors to qualify opportunities, define solution strategies and deliver compelling product demonstrations.
• Maintain deep knowledge of IQGeo’s platform, understand GIS/OSS/BSS environments and stay current with industry trends.
• Conduct discovery sessions, translate customer requirements into tailored solutions and build technical relationships with stakeholders.
• Support channel partners with technical guidance, represent IQGeo at industry events and capture feedback for product management.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of technology and industry experience, preferably in telecom, electric or gas networks.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, technical or related field.
• Fluent in English and German with strong communication and sales abilities.

Required skills

• Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) – ESRI, QGIS, Smallworld.
• Web mapping and visual AI technologies.
• Knowledge of telecom/utility workflows such as fiber design and network operations.
