Sales Manager for FC Würzburger Kickers

About the role

As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for selling marketing and sponsorship packages for FC Würzburger Kickers and other Infront sport properties, focusing on the German‑speaking market.

Key responsibilities

• Sell marketing and sponsorship packages for FC Würzburger Kickers and the broader Infront portfolio.
• Proactively acquire new customers, manage the sales process from first contact to closing.
• Develop customized sponsorship and activation concepts for clients.
• Maintain and strategically develop existing partnerships for long‑term growth.
• Build trusted relationships with decision‑makers and act as a reliable point of contact.
• Identify new market opportunities, analyse competition and propose new sales approaches.
• Lead sales projects from idea to successful implementation, ensuring speed and quality.

Required profile

• Completed university degree or comparable qualification.
• 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in sport, media or sponsorship.
• Strong sales and closing skills, comfortable with cold calling.
• Excellent communication, confidence and persuasive ability.
• Customer‑ and solution‑orientation with the ability to create tailored proposals.
• Resilience and ability to stay focused in dynamic environments.
• Presentation and negotiation skills, fluent in German and English.
• Organisational talent to manage multiple sales processes simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel, especially around match days and events.
