Sales Manager – Integrated Air & Missile Defence (IAMD)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Senior Sales Manager for Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD) to lead sales campaigns focused on army air‑defence solutions. Based at one of the German sites near Munich, the role reports to the Head of Sales Germany & International for Defence Digital and contributes to the company’s growing defence portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement sales strategies for IAMD campaigns in close alignment with Regional Sales and programme leads.
• Own commercial aspects of transactions, including cost, risk and benefit evaluations, and lead negotiations using market and competitor intelligence.
• Drive order intake to meet technical and economic objectives of the division.
• Strengthen the Defence Digital footprint across Europe by engaging continuously with industrial partners and associations.
• Ensure strict adherence to Airbus ethics, compliance and export‑control rules.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering or a related field, or previous military career.
• Established network and strong knowledge of the IAMD defence ecosystem, with prior military or programme experience in IAMD.
• Proven track record in defining Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) and managing complex commercial transactions.
• Ability to obtain (or already hold) a NATO security clearance.
• Fluent English with excellent written and presentation skills.
