SAP MDG Architect – Berlin, Germany

About the role

Infosys is looking for a senior SAP MDG Architect to design, govern, and deliver end‑to‑end Master Data Governance solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments. You will shape the MDG architecture, define data models and workflows, and ensure high‑quality master data across multiple domains.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of SAP MDG architecture across S/4HANA and integrated systems, conducting fit‑gap workshops and blueprinting.
• Drive the MDG workstream through all SAP Activate phases: Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run.
• Define data models, governance processes, validation rules, and mass‑processing designs for Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Product/Material, Finance and custom objects.
• Configure data models, UI modelling (FPM), process models, rule‑based workflows, and data replication (SOA, IDocs, ALE).
• Implement BRF+ rules, HANA Search/TREX duplicate checks, and integration between MDG and S/4HANA or legacy ECC systems.

Required profile

• Senior‑level technology architect with extensive experience in SAP MDG and SAP S/4HANA.
• Proven ability to lead design workshops, define governance strategies and manage end‑to‑end delivery.
• Strong collaboration skills with business leaders, data owners and technical teams.
