Scientific Staff – Fire Science & Engineering (75‑100 %)

About the role

We are looking for a scientific staff member to join national and international research and development projects in fire science and fire engineering at the Technical University of Munich. The position involves contributing to experimental studies, coordinating with project partners and supporting the university’s testing, monitoring and certification unit.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in national and international R&D projects focused on fire science and fire engineering.
• Coordinate, organise and align activities with internal and external project partners.
• Plan, conduct and scientifically evaluate experimental investigations.
• Support the university’s testing, monitoring and certification department.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualification in fire science, fire engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Willingness to support testing and certification activities.
