Senior Accountant & Financial Analyst (Full‑time, Unlimited Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant & Financial Analyst to join our European finance team. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and supporting business decisions across our German and Italian operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with German (HGB) and Italian GAAP, review accounting accuracy and supporting documentation.
• Execute monthly close, prepare local financial statements and coordinate audits with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Oversee tax compliance for German and Italian subsidiaries, prepare tax returns, EU Intrastat reports and transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts, perform variance analysis and produce management KPI reports.
• Manage fixed assets, inventory aging, accounts receivable aging and expense variance analysis.
• Develop localized financial policies, lead finance system testing/implementation (NS, expense reimbursement system) and support the Europe region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting, tax or audit experience, preferably with European exposure.
• Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and local tax regulations; Steuerberater or Bilanzbuchhalter IHK is a plus.
• Proficiency in German (B2+), English or Chinese, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or NS is preferred.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented, able to work independently under pressure.
