Senior Accountant

About the role

We are partnering with a leading law firm to hire a Senior Accountant in Frankfurt. The role will lead day‑to‑day finance operations, provide visibility across Europe and work closely with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day‑to‑day finance operations in Frankfurt.
• Ensure compliance with local, national and tax regulations.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across finance, tax, pricing and operations.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen controls across European teams.
• Oversee billing, collections and client invoicing.
• Manage cash‑flow, reporting and general ledger activity.
• Support audits, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to budgeting and financial planning processes.

Required profile

• Finance degree with a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CPA) or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of finance experience, preferably in professional services, legal sector or a Big 4 environment.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Strong stakeholder management and commercial mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, international environment.
