Senior CAMO Engineer – Helicopter Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Senior CAMO Engineer to lead the continuing airworthiness of a helicopter fleet for a leading operator in the German‑speaking region. The role is based in the Munich area and involves close collaboration with maintenance providers, flight operations, OEMs and aviation authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee fleet airworthiness in full compliance with EASA Part‑CAMO regulations.
• Develop, coordinate and continuously improve aircraft maintenance programmes.
• Review and implement mandatory and recommended airworthiness requirements, including ADs, SBs, STCs and other approved modifications.
• Maintain accurate aircraft configuration records and technical documentation.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between CAMO, maintenance, flight operations, OEMs and authorities.
• Support regulatory compliance, internal and external audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or a valid EASA Part‑66 B1.3/B2 licence with relevant experience.
• Proven experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management (Part‑CAMO) and/or Part‑145 helicopter maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of helicopter maintenance, especially Airbus Helicopters (H135, H145, AS350); experience with Bell 206/407 or Leonardo AW109 is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with Aircraft Maintenance Programme development, AD and SB implementation, and handling approved modifications.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
