Senior CAMO Engineer (Helicopters)

About the role

As a Senior CAMO Engineer you will ensure the continuing airworthiness of HTM's helicopter fleet in line with EASA Part‑CAMO requirements. You will work independently on a variety of technical projects, bridging hangar operations and strategic office functions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain fleet airworthiness according to EASA Part‑CAMO regulations.
• Manage and optimise Aircraft Maintenance Programs and maintenance planning.
• Evaluate and implement airworthiness directives, service bulletins and engineering changes (STC, MiC).
• Control aircraft configuration and ensure the integrity of technical records.
• Serve as the technical liaison between CAMO, maintenance organisations, flight operations and aviation authorities.
• Support compliance audits and drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or a valid EASA Part‑66 B1.3/B2 licence.
• Several years of experience in Continuing Airworthiness (Part‑CAMO) and/or Part‑145 helicopter maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of EASA regulations and helicopter systems, preferably Airbus H135, H145, AS350.
• Experience with Bell 206/407 or AW109 is an asset.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

• STC and MiC implementation.
• Aircraft configuration control and technical records management.
• Proficiency with LTB400 or comparable aviation maintenance management systems.
