Senior Category Manager – French Market (Fixed-Term 1.5 yr)

About the role

As a Senior Category Manager for the French and Belgium markets, you will partner closely with the sales team to drive the execution of the category strategy. The position is heavily focused on operational excellence, ensuring that promotions, pricing, content, and category setup are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support definition and execution of the annual category and promotional plan.
• Own operational implementation of promotions in CPM and related systems.
• Coordinate with CRM, Shop Operations, Graphics and central teams for high‑quality campaign execution.
• Prepare and execute local price change requests within the global pricing framework.
• Monitor competitor pricing, conduct price analyses and track impact.
• Maintain promo plan overview, track budget usage and analyse campaign performance.
• Ensure operational quality of category presentation in the shop (PLPs, search, recommendations, banners).
• Regularly QA category pages and proactively resolve content or navigation issues.
• Monitor and report on net sales, margin, promo spend, availability and other key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Highly analytical, structured and hands‑on approach.
• Strong execution mindset with ability to deliver results on schedule.
• Comfortable working across multiple internal teams and external vendors.
• Ability to contribute to category‑level strategy and broader commercial discussions.

Required skills

• Experience with CPM (Category Performance Management) systems.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and shop operation platforms.
