Senior Construction Manager (Civil) – Long-Term Contract

About the role

ENG Bauen is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead a critical civil construction workstream on a major pharmaceutical manufacturing campus in Rhineland‑Palatinate, Germany. This long‑term contract position is part of a multi‑billion‑euro EPC programme delivering large‑scale life‑science infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Drive safe and efficient site execution of civil and infrastructure works.
• Coordinate and manage multiple contractors and multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Oversee construction interfaces, ensuring alignment with schedule, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Monitor progress of earthworks, concrete works, underground services, utilities and related infrastructure.
• Report performance metrics and mitigate risks in a German‑speaking project environment.

Required profile

• 10+ years of construction management experience on large industrial, pharmaceutical, chemical, energy or infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record delivering EPC programmes with strong civil construction focus.
• Fluent German and proficient English communication skills.
• Ability to lead large contractor teams and manage complex construction interfaces.
