Senior Consumer Products Designer (m/f/d)

About the role

G2 is looking for a Senior Designer to lead the creative development of merchandise and consumer product concepts for its global esports brand. You will shape the future of the brand identity through innovative design, trend analysis, and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own concept ideation for product and merchandise launches, guiding creative direction from concept to final execution.
• Lead trend analysis for upcoming collections and translate market insights into innovative product concepts.
• Drive collection planning and overall creative strategy for merchandise drops, ensuring brand consistency.
• Oversee technical design across collections, create and review technical packs and product specifications.
• Mentor a junior designer or freelancer, maintaining alignment with the brand’s creative vision.
• Act as primary contact for suppliers on technical aspects, resolving production challenges.
• Ensure alignment between creative vision, product execution, and commercial goals.
• Support product launches by creating visual assets, mockups, and launch materials using design tools.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Merchandise, Product, Apparel or Graphic Designer or a similar creative role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in merchandise and apparel design.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end design processes and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
