Senior Data Scientist – Analytics, Statistics & BI

About the role

We are looking for a senior Data Scientist focused on analytics, statistics and business intelligence to join our AI‑first HealthTech company in the Frankfurt Rhine‑Main region. In this role you will own the analytics layer of a live AI platform used in therapeutic environments, turning complex clinical and behavioural data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain statistical models, hypothesis tests and regression analyses to evaluate study outcomes.
• Design, implement and optimise data pipelines and BI dashboards using modern data‑warehouse tools.
• Collaborate with AI, engineering and product teams to ensure data quality and drive product decisions.
• Own the evolution of the data‑warehouse environment and BI ecosystem (e.g., Superset, Looker, Power BI).
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for clinical and product stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist with a strong focus on analytics and statistics.
• Proven ability to work with complex behavioural and clinical datasets.
• Experience in a senior individual‑contributor role influencing product and clinical decisions.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑growing, 30‑person company.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• SQL query writing.
• BigQuery / Google Cloud Platform.
• Business‑intelligence tools such as Superset, Looker or Power BI.
• Applied statistical techniques (hypothesis testing, regression modelling, study evaluation).
