Senior Director, Performance Marketing

About the role

We are a fast‑growing e‑commerce company looking for a Senior Director of Performance Marketing to own and scale our paid‑media engine. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will manage multi‑million‑dollar monthly budgets across Google and Meta, design systems for spend decisions, and lead a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and allocate multi‑million‑dollar monthly budgets across Google and Meta, optimizing for marginal return.
• Design, document, and automate decision‑making rules for pausing, scaling, or holding spend.
• Own measurement frameworks, including platform attribution, MER, and incrementality testing.
• Run creative as a systematic pipeline: concept generation, testing taxonomy, UGC, and whitelisting.
• Develop promotional architecture aligned with the retail calendar and financing offers.
• Lead, assess, and structure the performance‑marketing function, with org‑design authority.
• Identify, evaluate, and pilot new paid channels beyond Google and Meta.
• Drive profitability by converting media efficiency into contribution margin.

Required profile

• 7+ years of performance‑marketing experience with sustained ownership of $1M+ monthly spend on each major platform.
• Proven track record of scaling revenue in high‑AOV categories.
• Strong analytical mindset with system‑thinking and execution speed.
• Experience leading and structuring high‑performing teams.
