Senior Engineering Manager

About the role

Free2move is looking for a visionary Senior Engineering Manager to lead an engineering squad through a major AI‑first transformation. You will own the team, drive AI adoption, and accelerate product delivery in a fast‑moving mobility environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a talented engineering squad, fostering a self‑reliant culture and reducing day‑to‑day dependencies on upper management.
• Integrate modern AI workflows and AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLM‑based testing) securely into daily pipelines.
• Explore, test, and implement advanced AI paradigms such as large language models and agentic systems to solve mobility challenges.
• Guide engineers through change management, coaching them to adopt an AI‑first mindset while maintaining high delivery standards, code quality, and system reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Lead in fast‑paced, product‑led environments.
• Deep, practical understanding of modern AI tools and how to leverage them safely to boost developer velocity.
• Strong cultural catalyst who challenges existing processes and energises teams.
• Excellent mentorship and change‑management skills with empathy and clarity.

Required skills

• GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants
• LLM integrations and agentic workflow tooling
• Experience with AI‑assisted testing and automation

• Annual gross salary €85 000–€100 000 plus 10% company bonus
