Senior Fund Accounting & Reporting Manager

About the role

As a Senior Fund Accounting & Reporting Manager you will own the fund accounting and investor reporting for selected VC/PE funds, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with Invest Europe standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate investor reports, performance metrics (IRR, TVPI, DPI, RVPI), NAV and carried interest calculations while complying with Invest Europe guidelines.
• Lead the preparation of annual financial statements, coordinate with auditors and conduct risk‑oriented reviews.
• Review accounting data, perform reconciliations, valuation checks and continuously improve quality‑assurance processes.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to standardise and automate reporting workflows.
• Support portfolio valuations, waterfall calculations, capital calls, distributions and management fee calculations.
• Maintain proactive communication with GPs, LPs and internal teams and work closely with the tax team on related matters.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting, finance or controlling (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of fund accounting/administration experience in alternative investments.
• Strong knowledge of Local GAAP, IFRS and familiarity with Invest Europe Guidelines.
• Experience coordinating audit processes and preparing financial statements.
• Fluent English; German is a strong advantage.
