Senior IT System Administrator (all genders)

About the role

You will join the IT Engineering and Operations team in Berlin, supporting security design, local and remote employee support, and ensuring system availability across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security across tools and devices.
• Provide on‑site and remote support to employees in Berlin and other locations.
• Follow, improve and document IT processes.
• Monitor and maintain infrastructure, proactively fixing issues.
• Analyze and resolve operational malfunctions.
• Manage ticketing system, remote connections, and ensure user compliance with policies.
• Contribute to management tools, network, security, and ticket management projects.
• Work with Addigy, Apple Business Manager, Google Workspace, Snipe‑IT, 1Password, Okta, Atlassian and related systems.
• Report directly to the IT Helpdesk Lead.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT system administration.
• Strong knowledge of macOS, Google Workspace, MDM solutions and Okta.
• Ability to deliver solutions without disrupting existing services.
• Customer‑oriented mindset using ITIL‑like methodology.
• Experience with scripting and MDM deployment tools (Addigy, JAMF, Intune).
• Fluent English; German language skills are a plus.
• Team player with a solution‑oriented, hands‑on approach.
