Senior Java Software Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Java Software Engineer you will help deliver high‑quality, scalable fintech solutions that meet both functional and non‑functional requirements. You will work in an international, agile team to build and maintain Java‑based applications, write clear documentation, and follow best practices for coding, continuous integration and deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop robust, scalable Java applications using modern frameworks and design patterns.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation for features and APIs.
• Apply coding standards, CI/CD pipelines and deployment procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Munich, Frankfurt and Sofia.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional Java backend development experience.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and software architecture.
• Fluent in German and English, comfortable working in a distributed team.
• Experience with virtual collaboration across locations.
