Senior Manager, EU Employment Law (Platform Workers)

About the role

Delivery Hero is seeking a Senior Manager to lead EU employment law matters for its platform‑worker operations. You will join the Global Legal Logistics team and provide strategic legal guidance that aligns business objectives with EU regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the management of regulatory and legal risks related to platform work across the EU.
• Oversee a team of employment lawyers in multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide employment, immigration, and commercial law support to rider operations.
• Monitor and report on litigation, regulatory developments, and risk exposure to senior stakeholders.
• Design pragmatic strategies to mitigate legal risks and improve legal processes.
• Travel on short notice (up to ~10%) to support international scope.

Required profile

• Fully qualified employment lawyer in an EU jurisdiction with 8+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong background in litigation and advising technology‑driven or platform businesses.
• Proven people‑leadership experience in complex, international settings.
• Deep expertise in EU employment law and the Platform Workers Directive.
• Experience working in matrix‑structured, multinational organizations.
