Senior Manager, Finance Operations

About the role

RobCo is building autonomous industrial robotics and seeks a Senior Manager, Finance Operations to lead financial management and operational processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance and strategic support.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end financial reporting, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual statements.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting in partnership with department heads.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll and general ledger.
• Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, tax requirements and internal policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimise finance workflows.
• Evaluate, implement and manage financial management systems, automation and AI‑driven solutions.
• Serve as a business partner to cross‑functional teams on strategic initiatives.
• Develop the finance operations team and manage external stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in finance and accounting, including budgeting and financial analysis.
• Proficient analytical skills to interpret data and support strategic planning.
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem‑solving and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Prior experience in investment banking, consulting, accounting or a SaaS/robotics startup.
• Fluency in English and German.
