Senior Manager Public Relations – Central Europe

About the role

Vantive is seeking a Senior Manager Public Relations for Central Europe to lead press relations and organic social media activities across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and other key markets. Reporting to the Director of Communications, EMEA, you will shape public‑relations campaigns that raise awareness of the company’s kidney‑care and vital‑organ‑therapy innovations.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑create PR campaigns and content (press materials, digital assets, thought‑leadership events) in partnership with local markets, Government Affairs, Medical Affairs, Market Access and Marketing.
• Act as an in‑house journalist, identifying and promoting brand, clinical, patient and employer stories.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers and industry stakeholders to secure coverage and boost social‑media engagement.
• Serve as the official company spokesperson for press inquiries and manage senior‑management media interactions.
• Monitor press and social media, provide crisis‑communication counsel, and produce reactive communications to protect the company’s reputation.
• Develop PR metrics, monitor campaign effectiveness and report on results.
• Assess and manage PR agency capabilities for key Southern European markets.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in public relations, preferably within the healthcare or medical‑device sector.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑market PR initiatives and manage media relations across Central Europe.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional Central European language proficiency is a plus.
• Experience acting as a spokesperson and handling crisis‑communication situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams (Government Affairs, Medical Affairs, Marketing, etc.).
