Senior Manager, Regional External Affairs (Germany)

About the role

Incyte is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Regional External Affairs and Market Access across Nordrhein‑Westfalen, Hessen, Rheinland‑Pfalz and Saarland. The role sits at the intersection of government affairs, health policy and market access, ensuring reimbursement success and shaping the healthcare environment in line with corporate strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with regional political stakeholders, including state parliaments, health ministries and municipal health authorities.
• Monitor, analyse and report on policy and legislative developments that affect Incyte’s portfolio and pipeline.
• Represent Incyte in regional health alliances, public policy initiatives and with key institutions such as university hospitals and healthcare associations.
• Co‑create and execute integrated account plans together with cross‑functional teams and support the regional Strategic Key Account Management model.
• Collect, structure and share field intelligence to inform decision‑making and align with national governmental affairs strategy.
• Act as the primary liaison with statutory health insurers, physicians’ associations and medical service agencies, providing scientific and pharmaceutical information on Incyte’s medicines.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of the German healthcare system and regional specificities.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Proven capacity to extract and translate external developments into commercial opportunities.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, even when positions differ.
