Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the scale‑up of our autonomous mobile robot production in Munich. You will turn a complex bill of materials and a network of suppliers into a repeatable, high‑quality manufacturing system that can grow from a few units to hundreds.

Key responsibilities

• Select, qualify and manage suppliers capable of supporting increasing volumes.
• Design the assembly line, including workstation layout, work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Build a comprehensive quality system covering standards, in‑process inspections, first‑article and end‑of‑line checks, and full traceability.
• Set up material flow and internal logistics to ensure parts are available at the line when needed.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to embed manufacturability into product development, simplifying assemblies and reducing build time.

Required profile

• Degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial or mechatronics engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production or industrialisation engineering.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Based in Munich or willing to relocate.
• Hands‑on experience with mechatronic products and building production processes from scratch.
