Senior Marketing Manager – Category Lead

About the role

As Senior Marketing Manager you will own the end‑to‑end Category Marketing Management for an assigned product portfolio, shaping strategy and delivering high‑impact activations. Reporting directly to the CMO, you will turn consumer insights into growth‑driving campaigns and make the category a core engine for Sunday.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Category Marketing Strategy, including target customers, revenue ambition, positioning and channel approach.
• Translate market dynamics and consumer needs into actionable product and brand campaigns across all channels.
• Craft a compelling category story and bring it to life through the full‑funnel marketing mix.
• Lead cross‑functional teams (Performance, Brand, Creative, PR, CRM, Influencer) to ensure cohesive execution.
• Support S&OP with reliable forecasts and help solve operational challenges when needed.

Required profile

• Master’s or MBA degree.
• 7+ years in category, brand or product marketing within FMCG or consumer industries, with full‑portfolio ownership.
• Proven end‑to‑end ownership from strategy to activation and performance delivery.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data analysis, financial modeling and forecasting.
• Fluent in German and English.
