Senior Mobile Engineer – Food Tracking

About the role

Yazio is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join the Food Tracking squad. You will help shape the core experience of millions of daily users by delivering high‑impact features on both iOS and Android using Kotlin Multiplatform.

Key responsibilities

• Own features end‑to‑end, from technical design to production deployment.
• Lead the migration of complex domain code from native iOS/Android to a Kotlin Multiplatform‑first architecture.
• Integrate scalable AI‑driven features in collaboration with the backend team.
• Partner closely with product managers, designers, and analysts to define roadmap and trade‑offs.
• Mentor other engineers, conduct thoughtful code reviews, and improve team processes.

Required profile

• Seasoned engineer passionate about impact on users.
• Expert in modern mobile development, especially Android with Kotlin and Compose; KMP experience is a plus.
• Experience with iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI is highly valued.
• Proven track record of end‑to‑end feature delivery.
• Comfortable using AI tools and integrating AI‑driven features.
• Pragmatic, quality‑focused, and obsessed with user experience.
