Senior Mobile Engineer (Food Tracking)

About the role

Yazio is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the Food Tracking squad, responsible for the core experience of daily food logging, AI‑driven insights, and features used by millions. The role is fully remote and open to candidates in Germany, Spain, Portugal, or the United Kingdom.

Key responsibilities

• Own features end‑to‑end, from technical design to production deployment, ensuring clean, maintainable code.
• Lead the migration of complex domain logic to Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) while continuing feature delivery.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate scalable AI‑powered functionalities.
• Partner closely with product managers, designers, and analysts to shape roadmap and prioritize technical trade‑offs.
• Mentor fellow engineers through thoughtful code reviews and process improvements.
